Rajon Rondo tears ACL, Out for the Season

In what sums up a pretty disappointing start to the season,  it has been confirmed that Celtics Point Guard Rajon Rondo has torn his acl and will miss the remainder of the season.

Rondo suffered the injury during Friday’s loss to the Hawks and was surprisingly able to play the final 2:20 of the game. The news and speculation leading up the injury was both bizarre and scary. It started out with a late game scratch that was originally described as a hyper-extended knee. Then whispers of a torn acl crept out and were met with some doubt. Sometime in the 3rd quarter our worst fears were realized when Doris confirmed Rondo’s Acl injury. Date for Surgery has yet to be determined.
