The injury bug has already bitten the Bruins just two games into the season. Defenseman Dennis Seidenberg was a late scratch from yesterday’s matinee against the Winnipeg Jets with what is being called a lower body injury. Aaron Johnson, acquired via free agency back in July, skated in his place in the Bruins’ 2-1 shootout win. Brad Marchand took a shot from Evander Kane late in that game, and Joe Haggerty of CSNNE is reporting that Marchand is not present at this morning’s practice at Ristuccia Arena. Jay Pandolfo is skating in his place on the second line with Patrice Bergeron and Tyler Seguin. Haggerty also reports that Seidenberg is indeed back on the ice this morning and looks “agile enough” to play in tomorrow night’s game against the New York Rangers down at Madison Square Garden.
