Chris Broussard has reported that the Celtics are still actively trying to re-sign free agent shooting guard Ray Allen.  Broussard said that the Celtics are willing to double the Heat’s offer of 3 million and that the contract would be a 2 yr 12 million dollar deal.  With the news of Garnett returning for 3 more years and the Celtics willing to double the money to Allen Boston should have a slight edge in re-signing Ray Allen.  Stay tuned to GamedayBoston.com for more updates.
